My Story.
My Mission.
Welcome to Graham Fit Personal Training! The story of how I began goes back a long way. It began with my own beginnings in sports science.
In my teens I’d developed an interest in fitness and learning about anatomy so studied at college for this. At this time I’d also found myself interested in the Thai martial arts which got me very fit indeed. The knowledge gained in that period I knew could help others to reach their own fitness goals. In later years I then progressed to qualify as a gym instructor and then later a personal trainer. The whole aim is to help clients to be successful with their health and exercise habits, whilst providing a simple to understand no nonsense approach. The key is placing clients first by sharing a passion for coaching without the industry jargon, and providing consistent and effective communication. Communication is at the forefront of great coaching.
Furthering on I moved into Exercise Referral which is all about teaching exercise for health conditions. This covers an array of fifteen health conditions and lay the foundation to become a specialist exercise instructor.

how it works
sessions
Exercise sessions are provided by visiting your home, whereas other sessions usually take place on a large open greenspace. Namely the Knavesmire. It depends on preference and what is appropriate.
I train clients with varying needs from complete beginners to those who are experienced but require the specialist knowledge and experienced coaching. Sessions are normally one hour in duration and packed with content. The equipment used is portable, as well as bodyweight exercise. Clients range from general fitness and goals to serious health condition management and improvement.
Graham Fit is qualified by Ofqual regulated qualifications, meaning official and recognised by the government.
Level 2 gym instructor. Level 3 personal trainer. Level 3 exercise referral instructor. Level 4 specialist exercise instructor in low back pain. Level 4 specialist exercise instructor in obesity and diabetes and nutritional advisor.
